Hello, I’m Rachel Miller
FCIPR, FIIC, PG (Dip), MPRCA
Organisational communication fascinates me. I’m constantly learning, listening and observing and applying what I discover to benefit my clients.
I began my career as a journalist, then worked in corporate comms roles for a decade. This included in-house positions at Visa, Novartis, London Overground Rail Operations Ltd, Visteon and Tube Lines.
In 2013 I launched All Things IC consultancy and have the pleasure of coaching, advising and encouraging professional communicators.
One of my clients describes me as her “secret weapon” – a supporting force behind the scenes, enabling her comms team to achieve what they need to. They know they can draw on my expertise when they are under pressure, to help them succeed.
I love that and take that responsibility and trust seriously.
As an experienced communicator, I’m a Fellow of both the Institute of Internal Communication and Chartered Institute of Public Relations and abide by their codes of conduct.
I regularly judge industry awards and have contributed to a number of best-selling PR books.
In 2014 I was given the inaugural CIPR Inside Best Individual Contribution to Internal Communication award and was a finalist for Outstanding PR Professional of the Year in the CIPR Excellence awards (People’s Choice).
A driving force behind many key industry initiatives, she helps the profession to help itself. What makes Rachel stand out in particular is her understanding and use of social media to highlight and drive best practice in internal communication. In this respect, she’s the best in the business.Chartered Institute of Public Relations Judges
I’m also a co-founder of The IC Crowd, a community created in 2012 aiming to bring internal communicators together to share knowledge, network and communicate, both online and in person.
