Engage for success – the timeline

Today, Monday 12 November, a high-level task force of some of the UK’s most recognisable organisations met to call for every leader and manager across the economy to play their part in tackling the UK’s employee engagement deficit, which is estimated to result in the UK missing out on some £26bn in productivity each year.

Leaders from private, public and third sector organisations came together at the Department for Business, Innovation and Skills in London to launch the latest evidence about the effectiveness of employee engagement, presented by the nationwide ‘Engage for Success’ task force.

To read all about the task force, discover the new national website that is packed full of resources and view the employee engagement video, check out the article I published this morning.

Congratulations to everyone involved in the launch. You can follow the conversation via FacebookTwitter or LinkedIn.

I’ve created a Storify account of today, so if you missed any of the press coverage or conversations, you can catch up below by working your way through the timeline.
