As the year draws to a close, we’re gathering The Internal Comms crowd @theICcrowd, by inviting people working in internal communication to meet up on Thursday 5 December.
It’s your chance to network, mull over the year, have some drinks and meet face-to-face. This invitation is open to people working in-house or agency-side and the evening runs from 6pm-9.30pm (ish).
Tickets are free and the first few drinks and some nibbles are provided by our sponsor Weber Shandwick on a first come first served basis – so get there early to avoid disappointment!
We will be at The Merchant pub, @Iamthemerchant which is handily situated on the lower concourse of Liverpool Street station in London (next to M&S and near platform one) and would love you to join us.
Based on how quickly last year’s went, we expect them to go quickly, so do move fast to avoid missing out.
What is The IC Crowd?
It’s a network that I set up alongside my friends and fellow comms pros Dana Leeson and Jenni Wheller in September 2012 to bring IC pros together face-to-face and enable us to ask each other for help.
People Tweet the crowd, we share their query and other crowd members provide answers and advice. We’ve also crowd-sourced information sheets based on popular queries.
Find out more via www.theiccrowd.com or on Twitter @theICcrowd. We’re also on Google+.
We’re the people behind #thebigyak unconference that we held for 130 IC pros in the summer at eBay’s offices in Richmond, London. (Yes the yak will be back next year – we’ll let you know the date and more information nearer the time).
I hope to see you at our drinks,
Rachel
