The inside story on last night’s award winners

Congratulations to all the professional communicators who battled Storm Doris to be honoured at the CIPR Inside #insidestory awards last night.

I loved judging and adjudicating this year’s awards. The sheer graft and commitment to driving up standards in internal communication was evident from everything I read and comms pros I interviewed.

The quality of work taking place in companies globally in the name of internal comms is exemplary. We should all be immensely proud of our peers.

Well done and thank you to volunteers on the committee for organising a fun night at ZSL London Zoo.

Special mention goes to the ace IC team at Community Integrated Care, who battled Doris via train, then ended up driving from Liverpool to London, arriving eight hours after setting off. Stirling work ladies!

I’d also like to mention Annique Simpson @annique_simpson. She’s a bundle of positive energy and enthusiasm for internal comms, in a way I’ve not seen for a while.

She scooped Highly Commended in the Future Leader category and is definitely one to watch. I’ve asked her to guest blog for me as she has a fascinating background and I hope to feature her soon. Well done Annique.

Here’s a peek at what was shared on Twitter, plus all those honoured.

Well done to you all.

If you want to find out more about CIPR Inside or help shape the future of IC by being part of the committee (which I can thoroughly recommend as ex-Deputy Chair of the group), sign up for their AGM on 13 March in London.

Tickets are free.

Have a great weekend,

Rachel.

Here’s the winners:

Well done all, enjoy the celebrations.

Rachel
