Digital Content Executive, Tata Steel
Location: Port Talbot
Salary Range: £25,253 – £35,000 + benefits

The Communications department, based in Port Talbot, cover internal communications, government relations, press, media and community relations for Strip Products UK.
We provide an in house service to the business on a whole range of communication activities and advice to the entire Strip Products UK Hub. We specialise in communicating with employees, customers, local communities, the South Wales media, Welsh Assembly and Local Government.
We are currently recruiting for a Digital Content Executive to be based at our site in Port Talbot. Ensuring all creative material complies with the Tata Steel brand guidelines, you will support the business strategy and effectively communicate business priorities and key messages.
This will be achieved through the design and production of creative materials, including publications, visual display material, video production, photography, intranet content and e-communications. You will provide internal, cost effective and flexible expertise in the field of design production and social media.
You will build positive relationships with key internal customers, as well as source and manage all creative suppliers ensuring the business benefits from best value.
You will project lead of the implementation of centrally driven design and new media projects and be responsible for the management of the hub intranet. You will also be responsible for managing the hub photographic and video requirements as well as the visual asset management library. You will continually keep abreast of best practice and new developments to provide the business with engaging and innovative communication tools.
As the ideal candidate you will hold a relevant design qualification and have previous experience in a similar role. You will have experience in photo/video shooting and editing, especially for online use, as well as experience of digital marketing and social media content and interlinking.
Competent in graphic design for posters, factsheets and templates, you will be familiar with In Design Adobe Creative Suite, Illustrator and Photoshop. You will also have experience of cross channel copy writing, message management and scripting. Strong interpersonal and IT skills are also essential, as is the ability to brief and manage external agencies and suppliers.
