Internal Communications Manager, Camden Council (maternity cover)
Location: 5 Pancras Square, London, N1C 4AG.

Salary: £39,243 – £45,520.
Contract Type: up to 12 Months Fixed term, 36 hours, full time.

This role works closely with the Chief Executive and senior officers and requires a dedicated and experienced internal communications manager to take the lead delivering a comprehensive strategy that reaches all staff, and covers major corporate and HR projects.
You will be creative and an innovator keenly interested in exploring the use of different channels for internal communications, including digital technology. You will actively measure the impact of your strategy through evaluation.
In short, you’ll have every opportunity to make a real contribution to the future direction of our internal communications activities.
Your already impressive track record and experience has given you an enviable knowledge about effective internal communications. You will have excellent writing skills and a proven ability to deliver evidence-based campaigns and measure their impact.
Strong account management, project management and service planning skills are important too, and you will know how to manage resources effectively. Adept at providing strategic advice to board level, senior officers and elected members alike, you have sound judgment and be able to present your ideas clearly and concisely.
You will have experience of crisis communications and know how to utilize reporting tools to illustrate the impact and benefits internal communications can bring to an organization such as Camden Council.
