Internal Communications Specialist, Coventry Building Society

About The Role

You’ll provide a comprehensive internal communications service to specific areas of the Society, including coaching, advising and leading delivery where appropriate.
The knowledge and relationships you build will enable you to understand your audience needs and challenges, and give you plenty of opportunities to put your creative skills into practice. You will also have the opportunity to lead on Society-wide internal communications initiatives, helping to meet the needs of a growing and diverse organisation, and adding value to our colleague-focused team.
You’ll have excellent communications skills, along with substantial experience of internal communications delivery in a complex organisation.
Ideally, you’ll have led internal communications on organisational change projects and programmes and will bring resilience and a ‘can do’ attitude to the role.
Working with discretion and confidentiality will be second nature, and you’ll enjoy thinking creatively to deliver the right solution for the right audience at the right time.
You’ll be comfortable working with colleagues at a senior level and will be able to translate complex information into simple, memorable internal communications.
It’s not all about doing though, you will be confident at advising and coaching colleagues of all levels to help them make the right communication calls.
If you can back this up with financial services experience or a related qualification then great, but neither is essential.
