This is a temporary 12 month maternity cover.
We’re looking for a dynamic and driven Media and PR Officer to join our high-performing Press Team. With disability high on the news agenda and an ambitious new strategy there has never been a more exciting time to join Scope.
This is a challenging and exciting role within the Press Office at Scope. The ideal candidate should be happy working in a fast-paced environment, have the ability to think creatively and excellent written and personal communication skills.
The role will give you the opportunity to work on high-profile campaigns and take on the responsibility to lead Scope’s Media Advisory Service, working closely with senior broadcasters and journalists.
You should have a good understanding of working with the media and a determination to change the way that the media engages with and portrays disabled people and the issues which affect them.
