There are just five days left to get your application in to be considered for a PR Academy bursary towards a professional diploma in IC or PR.
What else is happening over the next 10 days for comms pros? Here’s my regular Sunday look at events, courses and awards, so you can plan your diaries.
I write this article every week while chaperoning my three-year-old daughter during her piano lesson. I’m currently being serenaded by her rendition of Let It Go, which has set my toes tapping while I type.
This post covers 26 July to 5 August 2015. You can view the whole year via the Comms Calendar page.
There’s less than usual around this week, it feels like people are winding down for the Summer break here in the UK. Not that the rainy weather appears to have received the memo…
Thank you to the readers who got in touch to say they attended the Culturevist and #FuturePR events I highlighted last week after finding out about it via my article. I will be featuring some of their thoughts via guest posts in the near future.
Do contact me or Tweet @AllthingsIC if you know of an event to be considered for the calendar.
Courses, events and awards:
- 28 July: Creating a PR strategy, CIPR
- 31 July: Content Marketing Summit, Ragan, at LinkedIn – webcast
- 31 July: Final deadline for CorpComms awards.
- 5 August: PR writing summit, Ragan. If you can’t make it in person, take a virtual seat at the summit webcast.
The EVCOM Live Awards are calling for entries and the deadline is 18 September 2015. (EVCOM is the Event & Visual Communication Association).
