What’s on this week

Professional communicators say their boss, budget or company culture stop them being innovative. Does that match your experience?

This topic is being discussed at Sequel Group’s upcoming Aspic Breakfast seminar happening on Friday in London. It features Kier Group’s Gordon Dowall-Potter, group head of internal communication at the FTSE 250 international construction giant.

Want to find out what else is on this week? Today’s article covers 3 to 13 April 2016.

See my comms calendar if you’d like to plan further ahead and do let me know if there’s anything missing.

I’m looking forward to meeting current students on the Masters in Internal Communication course from Kingston University/Capita this week. I’ll be guest speaking about knowledge management in the 21st century.

Masterclasses

All Things IC MasterclassesPlans are going well for my new All Things IC Masterclasses. These one-day courses have been created based on feedback from professional communicators.

The first one, An Introduction to Internal Communication is happening on 2 June in London.  It’s aimed at people who have been working in IC for two years or less.

I’m hoping to launch my new website this week where you can sign up to save your space and find out more. There’s already a list of people who are interested in attending, which is fantastic. I can’t wait to meet you and spend the day working together.

Add your name to the list to express your interest, and look out for more details of topics and dates coming soon.
