All Things IC is welcoming two Communication Consultants to the team, to enhance our ability to support and advise internal communicators.
Caroline Cubbon King and Dan Holden will be joining the company from Monday 25 April 2022, working alongside Founder Rachel Miller and Executive Assistant Louise Mackenney.
Rachel says: “I established the business in 2013 to offer training, mentoring and consultancy for internal communicators around the globe. Over the years I’ve worked with talented Associate Comms Consultants to support clients.
“After a period of growth, the time has come to invest in my own in-house team. We will use our collective expertise to benefit All Things IC’s existing and future clients.
“Caroline and Dan are highly experienced Comms professionals, with proven commitment and passion for internal communication. Caroline has been working with the company over the past 18 months as an Associate Comms Consultant, and will now be a permanent member of the team.
I invited Dan to join us because his ethos of nurturing and advising internal communicators aligns with ours. I’ve been impressed by his energy and enthusiasm supporting IC professionals while working in-house, and I’m excited to combine our skills.”
Caroline is an experienced senior marketing and communications specialist with over 20 years’ experience crafting communications solutions that address business challenges.
During her career, she has developed award-winning internal communication and employee engagement programmes, recognised for being creative, collaborative and building brands from the inside out.
Caroline supports All Things IC clients from the moment they make an enquiry. She spends time listening to their challenges and thoughtfully creates and delivers training, mentoring and consultancy solutions that meet their needs.
Caroline is an Accredited PR Practitioner and member of the Institute of Internal Communication (IoIC). Outside of work she can often be found on touchlines cheering her sporty sons on. She is also a Trustee of an independent specialist school and college.
She says: “I was thrilled to be asked to become a permanent member of the team. Together we can create even more ways to help internal communicators to learn and thrive.
Our nurturing approach is something I am very proud of. I am looking forward to building on this as we develop new services and approaches over time to benefit IC professionals and organisations.
“Rachel has created something truly special. I am delighted to be part of the next step of the All Things IC journey.”
Dan has focused his communication career on internal communication. He’s worked in a variety of sectors including aviation, defence, charity and more recently, manufacturing, all of which have seen him support remote based colleagues.
His dedication to internal communication extends beyond the workplace. He’s the 2022 Chair of the CIPR sub-group, Inside and volunteers for the Royal Air Force Air Cadets as their Internal Communication Specialist. Back in 2019, Dan also launched Horizon Comms, a resource focused on supporting those new to the Internal Communication profession.
Outside of the comms community, Dan enjoys the outdoors and focusing on his wellbeing and is a Fresh Air Friday facilitator.
Dan says: “I’ve been a follower of All Things IC since I first discovered Rachel’s blog collection back in my first Internal Comms role in 2014! To now have the opportunity to be part of the All Things IC team is a true privilege.
The support I’ve received from Rachel and All Things IC over the years has truly made a difference to my career, and wellbeing.
“I can’t wait to start not only supporting organisations and fellow communication professionals, but also having the opportunity to also give back to our wonderful profession.”
Please join me in welcoming them, you’ll hear a lot more from Caroline and Dan in future.
