In charge of an overhauled internal comms function within the Central Bank of Ireland, Paul Moley was looking at how to promote an awareness, understanding and strategic value of IC within the organisation. He turned to All Things IC for guidance.
Paul wanted recognition from the senior leadership of the importance of IC and the value it brings, to develop the team to be able to deliver effectively, and to devise two-way communication within the organisation. One of the first things he implemented when he started working with us was a channel review and clarifying where the IC function sits within the organisation so roles and responsibilities were clear.
Paul benefitted from knowing sectoral best practice, what has been tried by others and what the results are, being able to take an evidence-based approach, and that he was getting independent advice with no agenda.
As well as working with Paul and his team, we also researched and wrote a comms strategy and The Miller Report on what actions needed to be taken by Central Bank of Ireland.
