Last week I launched my brand new How to be a Comms Consultant Masterclasses and they sold out in record time!
2019 update: Upcoming courses are:
- 10 April 2019: How to be a Comms Consultant – Momentum
- 8 May 2019: How to be a Comms Consultant – Exploration
- 3 June 2019: Comms Director Mastermind – SOLD OUT
- 24 June 2019: How to be a Comms Consultant – Exploration
- 1 July 2019: Comms Director Mastermind – SOLD OUT.
What are they?
This year I’ve been supporting numerous practitioners 1-2-1 via VIP Days and phone consultations to help them analyse working as a Consultant.
It’s not the right path for everyone, but what’s been missing is an opportunity to explore the idea while you are in-house, or to reflect back once you’ve started working in this way to help you gain momentum.
I’ve been researching and speaking with clients and my peers to discover what that gap is and how to solve your problems.
2019 update: Your investment is £599 +VAT. There are only four places available so we can have a day completely focused on helping you succeed. Please note discount codes cannot be used with this offer.
It is possible to split the payment in two, please contact my Executive Assistant Louise if you wish to do so.
How to be a Comms Consultant – Exploration
Would you like to explore the idea of being a Communication Consultant?
If so, Exploration is for you. It will be led by Comms Consultant Rachel Miller and provide you with the tools and information you need to help you make decisions.
These Masterclasses are held in WallaceSpace, St Pancras, London, from 9am-4.30pm.
Who is it suitable for?
The Masterclass has been designed for IC pros working in-house who are looking for a confidential space to learn, ask questions and air their challenges and ideas.
It’s what I wish had been available when I was plotting my move from in-house to consultancy five years ago. I’ve created this Masterclass by conducting research in my network to ensure it covers all the relevant topics.
This Masterclass is a confidential space, which means I will not be sharing photographs of the group online as I usually do, just in case your boss doesn’t know your career ambitions!
If you are already working as a Comms Consultant, the Momentum Masterclass is the right one for you.
What can I expect?
The group size is kept deliberately small, with a maximum of four attendees, to ensure everyone has ample opportunity to get the answers to their problems and time to ask questions.
Topics we will discuss on the day include:
- Analysing your skills and niche
- How to choose the right company format
- How to set up a company
- How to make sense of HMRC
- Choosing an accountant
- How to set your prices
- Insurance
- Writing a business plan
- The resources you need
- How to find work including contracts, interim and retainers
- How to communicate your offering
- How to use social media and create a website
- Tools and templates e.g. invoices.
