On Wednesday 6 July, communicators gathered for the fourth annual Internal Communication and Engagement Awards, run by Communicate Magazine.
Congratulations to everyone who received an ICE award or recognition for their hard work.
I love seeing internal communicators being honoured, well done to everyone who made the shortlist.
All Things IC Communication Consultant and CIPR Inside Chair, Dan Holden was part of the judging panel and attended the awards ceremony in London.
Dan says: “The last 12 months have been tough for internal communicators, so it was a pleasure that CIPR Inside could once again sponsor and judge the three special recognition categories. I was joined by fellow committee member Marsha van Moorsel and CIPR members Harriet Small and Natalie Powell.
“I also want to pass on my thanks to Binu Jacob and former committee member Siobhan Boorer who couldn’t join us on the night but were a key part of the judging panel. Throughout the night, comedian Rhys James and Communicate Magazine Publisher, Andrew Thomas did a great job presenting the individual awards.
“On behalf of the CIPR Inside committee, I had the privilege to present the award for Best Business Leader, recognising those senior leaders in organisations who champion internal communications, and the ‘Best Internal Communications team’ award. This year, we only received one nomination for the ‘Best Internal Communicator’ so felt it wasn’t appropriate to present the award.”
Well done to all the award recipients and especially to the Gold award winners listed below. Details of each can be found in the Winners booklet.
