Last night I was honoured to join professional communicators from 120 countries for the evening reception of the Foreign and Commonwealth Global Communication Conference 2016.
It was set in the stunning FCO office in London and we heard from Hugh Elliott, Director of Communication at Foreign and Commonwealth Office and broadcaster James Landale, Diplomatic Correspondent for BBC News.
James offered advice for comms pros and it was amusing to hear his perceptions from the other side of the fence.
It was a pleasure to meet global communicators and compare notes. I relished discussing all things digital related with a professional communicator from Singapore and sharing stories and experiences.
I’ve been working with O2 in recent weeks, and enjoyed seeing Zofia Skrakowski @zofiaMS, who has kindly given me permission to use her photos, above.
