How to get help with your internal communication

What does the year ahead look like for you? Are you looking to move roles or progress your career in your current organisation?

Perhaps your task list includes improving line manager communication, restructuring your team, recruiting someone new, improving your relationships with stakeholders or launching your own Consulting business. I can help you with all of these through my range of calls, mentoring and training sessions wherever you are in the world.

Thank you for all the feedback you’ve shared following my How to set your professional goals for 2020 article. I’m thrilled to hear you’ve been finding it useful, particularly the free 2020 planner. Missed it? Get yours here.

If you’re job hunting (and I can tell from my stats that lots of people are!), keep an eye on the Jobs page. Looking to recruit? You can place vacancies for just £125+VAT per week.

Today I’m here with news of how we can work together over the next year to tackle your to do list or career wish list. I offer various support options and thought I’d guide you through them.

I’ve broken them down by budget.

Why? I spent 10 years working in-house. During that time, working with Comms Consultants felt like a dark art as I was never sure how much their advice would cost. Regular readers of my blog will know I work in a transparent way as I’ve been publishing my prices since 2017 to help you make informed decisions. If you need to pay via invoice or split payment, please contact my PA Louise.

STOP PRESS: I have a price freeze in place until the end of January 2020. Book before 31 January 2020 to benefit from my 2019 prices today.

Are you thinking of becoming a Comms Consultant this year?
If becoming a Comms Consultant is on the cards, or something you want to spend time thinking through in a confidential environment, my How to be a Comms Consultant – Exploration Masterclass is for you. The next date is 25 February 2020.

My How to be a Comms Consultant – Momentum Masterclass is for existing freelancers or Comms Consultants who wish to build momentum in their business. The next date is 21 January 2020. There will be a maximum of four people in the room, plus me, so you have lots of opportunity to talk and have time focused on you.

I’ll be setting additional dates soon, do let me know if you’re interested, so you can lock in the price.

Here’s what your peers think of my Comms Consultant Masterclasses:

My brand new office and training space, the All Things IC Hub is fully operational from this month. I can’t wait to share it with you, it’s the new home for my Masterclasses, client work and training sessions.

My global clients will experience it virtually as it’s where I have my Consultation Calls, Mentoring Calls and desk reviews. I’ve already shown some around using my laptop…

Let’s dive in…

Your investment: free
If you don’t have any budget, head over to my blog where you’ll find 1300 free articles, templates and case studies. Help yourself, my free learning centre will help you too. I also offer a free 15-minute consultation call.

Are you on my email list? I publish a free newsletter each month, The Water Cooler, add yourself to the list to receive the latest news and updates direct to your inbox.

Your investment: up to £500
Planning for 2020 and looking for support this year? My consultation phone calls will suit you. They start from just £149 +VAT for a 30-minute call. You can have 1-2-1 calls with me or dial in as a team.

IC practitioners use these calls in all sorts of ways including helping them prepare for interviews, testing their IC strategies, asking for advice with a tricky situation or stakeholder, asking me to review their work or advise on their CV. I’ve supported in-house IC pros via mentoring using an hour call split into two or two lots of one-hour calls, so they have accountability. I’ve also had calls with practitioners on the eve of them starting a new role, then again a few weeks later to discover how they’re getting on.

I regularly have calls with IC teams where I join as a special guest and become a virtual member of the team.

I’ve teamed up with my IT Consultant Husband, Jon, to support IC and IT practitioners when it comes to all things Office and Microsoft 365 related. You can have a 90-minute call with both of us for £499 +VAT.

Your investment: up to £1000
Places on my Monthly Masterclasses are £599 +VAT and I have a special offer of £999 +VAT for two Masterclass places. You can choose two Masterclasses for yourself or book a place for a colleague.

Are you the most senior Comms pro in your organisation? My Comms Director Mastermind is for you, if your title isn’t Director, don’t worry, you’re still able to come to spend time with fellow senior-level peers. The next date is 28 January 2020 and there’s just one place left.

Jon and I are running a Microsoft 365 Masterclass on 18 March 2020 for IC and IT professionals.

I regularly run VIP sessions over a whole day, but now offer a Half-day VIP session too, which falls into this price bracket.

Upcoming 2020 monthly Masterclass dates:

If you’d like to check your thinking with me, the half-day desk review, half-day online call or Four Consultation calls would suit you.

Your investment: from £1999
Your investment for a 1-2-1 VIP Day with me in person in London is £1999 +VAT. If you’re unable to come to London, this option can be split into two half-day remote video sessions.

See my website for additional options including three month and six month mentoring programmes.

Team training sessions
If you’re looking to train your Comms team, I offer a variety of options depending on the size of your team. Most of these sessions will be at the All Things IC Hub, but larger teams will continue to be at Wallacespace in St Pancras, London.

I can run one of my monthly Masterclasses for you or create a bespoke session. Over the past few years I’ve hosted confidential strategy sessions and training days for teams large and small from organisations including the BBC, LEGO, ARM, Merseyside Police, Coca-Cola, Aveva, Harrods, National Trust, TfL,GVC, Aon and Which?

I hope that’s helpful so you can see the full range of options, I also offer 90 day plan support if you are new in role, a bespoke half-day Microsoft 365 Masterclass with my husband and desk reviews.

Still not sure you’ve seen the right one for you? I offer a bespoke choice too, where you can design the right combination of in-person and remote support. Price is on application as it depends on what you’re looking for. Do get in touch and we can talk it through together to create the right combination for you/your team.

I have a price freeze in place until the end of January 2020. Book before 31 January 2020 to benefit from my 2019 prices today.

Congratulations to everyone who has just launched their own Comms Consulting businesses. All Things IC turns seven-years-old this month and I can remember acutely how I felt. Well done and good luck, I’m especially proud to see businesses launch from Comms practitioners who have attended my How to be a Comms Consultant – Exploration Masterclasses.

I wish you a healthy and happy new year.

Thank you for stopping by and I look forward to supporting you in 2020 and beyond.

Rachel.
