My review of #brandvandals by Stephen Waddington and Steve Earl, and the deck on SlideShare of the information I think is of most interest for IC pros.
A brand new book I’m about to read – my thanks to Kamales Lardi for sending through to me: Social Media Strategy: A Step-by-step Guide to Building Your Social Business (VDF, 2013) by Kamales Lardi and Rainer Fuchs. I will be publishing a review in due course.
Social business
New research from Brian Solis and Charlene Li from Altimeter Group on the evolution of social business.
Further reading: I’ve written about social business a number of times, you can read my overview of the history and definitions and also access a free book on social business, Attenzi, by Philip Sheldrake.
And finally… How do internal comms pros use social media?
My survey into how internal comms pro use social media is half way through, thank you to everyone who has participated to date. It’s running until 31 October and I’d love you to have your say.
Regular readers will recognise the questions because they are the same ones I ran this time last year. I’d like to track trends and see how and if things have progressed since last year. I’ve also taken the opportunity to ask for feedback on my blog and have got lots of ideas for new features and functions based on your suggestions so far.
So if you haven’t yet grabbed a cuppa and spent five minutes answering this short survey, please do so as I’d love to gather as many thoughts as possible.
Thank you.
Thank you for tuning in, you can tweet me your thoughts @AllthingsIC or comment below.
