The shortlist for the Institute of Internal Communication‘s national awards is hot off the press. Want to see who’s on it?

I had the pleasure of judging the IoIC awards again this year and competition was fierce. Reading through the entries in a couple of the categories was as tough a job as it usually is!
It was a robust, fair and thorough process. Well done IoIC for attracting such high calibre award entries. You can book tickets for the awards evening on 29 September 2017 in London via the Institute of Internal Communication website.
I’m planning to go to the awards night later this year to join my fellow judges. I always look forward to seeing communicators having their hard work recognised.
Justine Stevenson, IoIC Awards Chairman said: “As judges we are encouraged, and amazed, at how the standard improves year on year.
“All entrants on this list should be immensely proud of what they have achieved with their work. We have seen some truly outstanding pieces of work and in some categories it has come down to the finest of details to decide the winners.
“We still see strong numbers in the traditional print and event classes and increasingly see high-class entries in the digital and campaign classes. It has also been great to see the ingenuity applied in some of our newer classes this year.
“Some elements are still a struggle – measurement of outcome is still not where it could be and assessing impact against business objectives, despite getting stronger, has some way to go. But that’s where the feedback from our dedicated and expert team of judges can help identify areas to improve.
“All the shortlisted entrants below will receive an Award of Excellence and are in the running to take top spot in their class when the winners are announced at the Awards Dinner at the Intercontinental Hotel Park Lane, London on 29 September.
“We would love to see you there and to celebrate with you – last year’s dinner sold out in record time so we recommend you book soon to secure your place.”
