Communications and Engagement Manager, Moonpig
Location: Manchester or London

We are looking for a creative Internal Communications and Engagement Manager to own and lead internal communications at Moonpig and support the people team with driving actions from our Engagement Survey amongst other exciting projects.

Moonpig is the world’s largest online personalised greeting card retailer. We now have over six million active customers and ship over 17 million cards per year. We’re also one of the UK’s largest online retailers of plants and flowers and our aim to become the UK’s personal gifting companion.



The role
We’ve created this brand new role to get Moonpig started with internal communications. We need to build the basics and create some more internal wow moments which will have a positive impact on our amazing people. Reporting to the People Director, you will manage the day-to-day internal communication activities while supporting the People team in driving big and small actions from our engagement survey. You will also provide strategic counsel to senior leaders.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Work with the People Director to develop Moonpig’s Internal Comms strategy to inspire, inform and engage our people
  • Develop internal campaigns that will embed our new ways of working post lock-down
  • Review and develop processes and channels to support more effective communication and collaboration
  • Coming up with progressive and creative ways to communicate and engage
  • Own and drive the outcomes (you said, we did) activity from the engagement surveys
  • Manage calendar of internal communications activities including content for company meetings
  • Deliver campaigns and projects: Eg. Company objectives, values and vision
  • The role reports to the People Director with a shared resource to support delivery

About You

  • Driven to deliver great results that impact what it means to work at Moonpig
  • Strategic, curious thinker, problem solver who is methodical
  • Experience of working in fast-paced environment with ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Solid Internal Communications experience, also great if you’ve had experience in HR
  • Ideally with a background in tech, e-commerce, media or retail
  • Experience in both large matrix organisations and smaller, private owned, more agile businesses
  • Partnered with Tech stakeholders – an added benefit if you have
  • An individual contributor who has the ability to work at both an operational and strategic level
