Croydon Are you a comms professional who’s passionate about working with and for diverse communities? We’re looking for a communications and engagement officer to play a key role in our response to the pandemic, helping our residents to access vital public health advice which will prevent the spread of coronavirus and save lives.

You’ll be a highly-skilled communicator, with experience creating and delivering multi-channel, evidence-based campaigns and of using data to target audiences and evaluate campaign impact.

Forming excellent links with community stakeholders, you will work in close partnership with them to tailor national messages so that they reach into deep into all of our diverse communities, in a way that has the biggest impact.

Based in the corporate communications service and reporting to the external communications and engagement manager, you will support our senior communications and engagement officer, and work closely with our public health team and a huge range of internal and external stakeholders.

Strong influencing and negotiating skills are a must, combined with the ability to deliver creative, consistently high-quality communications in a fast-paced environment.
Full time hours, 36 per week
