Salary: £61,143 – £75,160

London South Bank University is expanding. We are evolving our offering and our brand, and we need your help to do it.
The Director of Brand and Communications will be responsible for the development of the LSBU brand, to include the LSBU family of institutions and all our subsidiaries.
You will shape a compelling brand position which is contemporary and compelling to today’s learners, whilst relevant to the University’s heritage and core education promise.
Through defining clear and consistent messages, and implementing a wide range of internal and external communication and engagement programmes, you will build brand awareness, reputation, and connectivity with LSBU’s multiple stakeholders, which in turn, will contribute to improving advocacy amongst our students, our staff, and our community.
You need to have a strong background in communications and marketing competencies, including media relations, communications planning, internal communications, brand development, brand storytelling and measurement/analytics, and some knowledge of the higher education environment. You need to know how to build and manage a customer focused brand that uses multiple platforms to communicate with a wide audience, and you need to know how to guide a team of talented professionals to their full potential.
