Grants Coordinator, Great Ormond Street Hospital

The Grants Coordinator plays a valuable and essential role in the Grants team at Great Ormond Street Hospital Charity, and we are looking to recruit someone on a fixed term basis to take up this position as a maternity cover.
Working in a fast-paced team, providing a broad range of administrative support across all aspects of the Grants team, this role is an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic individual who is interested in pursuing a career in grant management whilst having the opportunity to work with a variety of fundraising teams across the charity.
About the Team
The Grants team report directly into the Director of Grants and Impact. The team are responsible for ensuring we have robust funding mechanisms to determine best use of charitable funding, providing support to fundraising teams with information on the exciting projects the charity funds and for monitoring and evaluating projects and programmes of work funded by the charity.
You will have solid and demonstrable administration experience gained from working in a busy office environment. You will also have strong organisational skills and attention to detail, as well as experience of multi-tasking and leading on several administrative projects at the same time.
The ideal candidate is someone who has:
- A positive, ‘can do’ attitude with the ability to take initiative
- Excellent customer service skills both on the telephone and face-to-face
- The ability to remain calm and positive in a busy and sometimes demanding environment
