Reports to: Head of Internal Communications
The Internal Communications Advisor will provide support to the Group Head of Internal Communications and lead on a number of internal communication and employee engagement activities. This is a junior management role with the potential to grow.
The individual will need to be a good self-starter with excellent writing skills and a good knowledge of internal communication planning and practices.
We are looking for someone with experience in channel management (ideally SharePoint), video creation, and use of internal social feeds like Yammer.
The successful candidate will be inquisitive and a natural newshound, able to create and tell stories. The role holder will ideally have an interest in sport and the desire to work in a fast-paced global media company.
|WHAT WILL YOU DO IN YOUR NEW ROLE?||% of role|
|Internal communications support (to include planning and delivery) for business projects and launches across various teams/departments/divisions||25|
|Content creation – particularly articles, ghost-writing emails, FAQs, and video.||25|
|Channel management, including training and maintenance – specifically focusing on the 365 tools including SharePoint and Yammer.||20|
|Network building and team support, including all communications activities and events||5|
|Reporting & analysis of communications metrics and activity||5|

|DO YOU HAVE THESE ESSENTIALS TO BE CONSIDERED FOR AN INTERVIEW?||Skill Level (out of 4)|
|Experience of creating internal communications plans and delivering on them||4|
|Great flair for writing, able to write in different voices and for different media.||3 or 4|
|Experience with Microsoft Office 365||3 or 4|
|DO YOU HAVE THESE DESIRABLES?|
|Experience of digital communications, including Yammer (or other community platform) community management/moderation.|
|Experience of working in a complex Global business|
|2-3 years of experience in role|
