An exciting opportunity to develop and oversee high profile campaigns at the heart of one of the UK’s most famous brands.

About the role

Reporting to the Head of Internal Communications, you will work with senior leaders across the business to drive effective campaigns that engage different levels of the business.

You will manage content and planning across key internal channels, developing and driving an effective and engaging editorial plan across internal channels. You will research and develop new channels and creative ideas in line with best practice and trends within the industry.

Managing a roster of high quality suppliers used by the internal communications team, you will ensure that we are achieving value for money and reducing costs where possible.

You will lead on evaluation of channels, driving changes in content and distribution channels based on quantitative and qualitative research.

You will use your knowledge and experience to develop and mentor more junior members of the team in a fast paced, busy environment.

About you

Having a proven track record of developing and managing internal communications campaigns and content from start to finish at a senior level in a large business with the ability to understand and communicate persuasively, issues and policies to employees.

Being an experienced communications professional you will have excellent writing and proof reading skills with the ability to write for different media purposes and audiences.

You will have excellent verbal communication skills and have experience of stakeholder management and developing strong working relationships at all levels alongside experience of working with external agencies.

You will also have experience of mentoring, and leading a team of communication professionals on a variety of campaigns with the ability to identify and support development

Ideally you will possess a degree or equivalent in communications or Journalism and Shorthand and Photoshop skills are desirable.
