Salary: £35,392 to £42,618 per annum + HCA Supplement where applicable

Job Summary
NHS Blood and Transplant is a Special Health Authority, dedicated to saving and improving lives through a wide range of services to the NHS. It has a wide and diverse remit including, blood donation, organ donation and stem cells. The Internal Communications team works across all these areas meaning you will work across a wide remit.
Colleagues are key to NHSBT’s success. Our colleagues need to know what is going on, how well we are doing against our strategic goals and what our plans are for the future.
Experience in an internal communications role, gained in a large, complex organisation, will stand you in excellent stead. You’ll deliver advice on internal communications and engagement issues, advising on priorities, messages and channels, ensuring there is ongoing dialogue about our future priorities.
You will lead the delivery of specific internal communications campaigns and initiatives. You will have a passion for developing creative content and in reaching a highly mobile and dispersed workforce.
Main duties of the job
In this role you will be responsible for communicating corporate news, information and campaigns in an engaging way using the most appropriate channels .Your responsibilities will include:
You will be required to travel and spend time away from base occasionally, which could involve working irregular hours and overnight stays when required, with prior notice.
