We launched in 2009 with a mission to change energy for the better. Since then, we’ve welcomed over a million members, planted a million trees, and set our sights on helping save the planet.

As a Group, we’re working to become a net zero carbon business by 2030, while helping our OVO Energy members halve their carbon footprints at the same time.

Green energy and technology are great tools to fight the climate crisis with. But it’s people power that will rewrite history.

So we’re building a zero carbon team inside and out. Of people who share our values, feel inspired by our mission, and want to make change happen. When you work for OVO, it’s not just a job. It’s the work of a lifetime. And we want the sharpest minds to help.

Up for the challenge?

Where in the world of OVO will I be working?

You’ll be working in the People Engagement team. We’re responsible for designing and delivering a proactive, progressive engagement strategy to help us become the leading place to work for people who want to change the world.

We help people to connect to and be inspired by our purpose, share in our values and become advocates of our mission to drive progress towards zero carbon living.

What will I be doing?

As Senior People Engagement Manager you’ll help our people connect to our purpose, live our values and become advocates for OVO.

You’ll partner widely across a range of functions that are key to the success of our employee engagement strategy and build relationships across an extensive network of leaders and colleagues.

In this role you’ll be responsible for:

  • Shaping our people engagement strategy, making sure our internal communications campaigns, content, channels and events drive maximum employee engagement
  • Leading the development of campaigns, content and news through a best-in-class channel mix, providing strategy and solutions for key stakeholders and functions

  • Building and developing strong relationships with senior OVO leaders and providing coaching and comms counsel as a trusted advisor. Leveraging influencers across the organisation to build engagement
  • Working with the People team to build OVO’s leadership capability, so that OVO’s people leaders have the tools and skills to successfully engage and inspire our people
  • Leading a team of four – coaching, supporting and helping them do their best work.
