Girlguiding is recruiting a stakeholder communications officer to join its Marketing and Audience Engagement department.
This is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic team as we improve the way we communicate with our internal audiences and have a real impact on internal communications at Girlguiding.
The stakeholder communications officer will work with our strategic communications manager and key stakeholders across the organisation (including the senior leadership team) to plan and deliver effective internal and stakeholder communications to Girlguiding colleagues.
They will develop an expert knowledge of Girlguiding’s internal audiences, their communications needs and translate this expertise into an effective internal communications strategy for the charity. This will involve delivering creative communications across our current internal communications channels whilst assessing how we can improve these existing channels, as well as researching, implementing and evaluating new internal communications channels for the organisation too.
We want all Girlguiding colleagues to feel well informed and supported, united behind our ambitious strategic plan, and supported during a period of change for the charity.
We’re looking for a creative communications professional with strong digital and editorial expertise and experience of researching, planning, delivering and evaluating internal communications strategies. The stakeholder communications officer might also at times need to support the work of our membership communications officers, who communicate to our internal audiences of members and girls.
