Would you like the opportunity to review the way you work, meet peers and get advice?
Do you go to Comms Conferences and feel like you never learn anything new?
Do you feel like you give away your knowledge to help less experienced colleagues learn, but there’s nowhere for you to learn with senior-level peers?
If so, this Comms Director Mastermind on Wednesday 14 September 2022 is for you. It will be in person and led by Comms Consultant Rachel Miller, and provide you with the tools and information you need to help you make decisions.
Being a Mastermind means we will be drawing on the work you’ve done to date and building on it. The day will be a blend of Masterminds, discussions and Comms theory.
There are only four places available.
What is a Mastermind?
A Mastermind is an opportunity for you to get help with something you’re stuck on. It’s a group brainstorm which is focused on helping everyone to succeed individually and collectively. Each person shares their thoughts and you hear ideas and opinions from others.
I introduced Masterminds during my How to be a Comms Consultant Masterclasses in 2018 and feedback from delegates shows they provide a valuable opportunity to get help in a confidential environment.

The Mastermind has been designed for Communication Directors who are looking for a confidential space to learn, ask questions and air their challenges and ideas.
Is this right for me?
You’ll have the opportunity to meet with other internal communicators face-to-face to share challenges and opportunities with each other, and build your network.
Not sure if it’s right for you? Do get in touch and we can have a conversation.
It will be held at the All Things IC Hub, which is a short walk from Ealing Broadway station, London. The day will include lunch and snacks.
The group size is kept deliberately small, with a maximum of four attendees, to ensure everyone has ample opportunity to get the answers to their problems and time to ask questions.
Rachel’s Mastermind class gives you a rare opportunity to define and dig into your biggest IC challenge, in a safe space, with other experienced IC professionals. It allows you to delve deep into the issue, understand the reasons behind it, and come away with practical ideas and tangible actions that you can use to move forward. The day will give you the space to support you but also you will meet others who you will get to know and you can support them. I highly recommend it. New friends, a lovely space, time to grow, great ideas and some lovely tools and treats to take away as well. What’s not to love – Jess Noble, RNLI.
You don’t need to do a lot of preparation, just share your thinking and what you would like help with. For example you could bring a copy of a Change Comms campaign, Internal Comms strategy or restructuring plan for your team.
It goes without saying, you’ll get out what you put in, so come prepared to be honest, non-judgemental and ready to help others in the group when it’s their turn.
The course will start at 10am and finish at 4pm.

The cost of the Mastermind is £649 +VAT per person. Please contact Rachel’s Executive Assistant Louise if you have any queries. There are only four spaces to enable us to have a day completely focused on helping you to succeed.
