Where I’m going to be
I’m not able to attend SMiLE today, but over the next few weeks I will be at the CIPR Inside annual internal communication conference on 2 October and speaking at the Melcrum Summit and attending the Melcrum awards.
I had the pleasure of judging the Melcrum awards this year and the standard of entries was extremely high. I know that’s a hackneyed phrase, but it’s true.
I was impressed with what I read and watched and look forward to seeing comms pros being recognised for their hard work next month.
Thank you to everyone who has got in touch to congratulate me on being named in the Best Business Blog category of the UK Social Media Communications Awards #somecomms. Best of luck to all the other shortlisted entries and fingers crossed for the ceremony on 23 October.
Don’t forget if you’re looking for a new comms job, my jobs page is up and running and features vacancies at all levels and locations. Latest roles include Unilever, Action For Children, Twitter and many more.
