Welcome to my new-look website, which coincides with the launch of my consultancy business, All Things IC.
You’re welcome to have a look around and I’ll guide you through what has changed and what has stayed the same. I hope you find what you’re looking for and do please let me know your feedback.
IC stands for internal communication and on this site you’ll find my blog. It features hundreds of articles I’ve written about internal communication, employee engagement, social media and much more. What has changed is the way you can read and find the stories because I’ve categorised them so they are easier to search.
This means that when you read an article about employee engagement for example, it suggests other articles underneath that you may find interesting.
The name and URL is now All Things IC. Regular readers will know that @AllthingsIC has been my Twitter ID since getting married in 2010 and it’s now registered as my company.
I will continue to share free, useful, content via my blog. When I set it up in 2009, I did so with the intention to share useful information with other people interested in internal communication and social media. Feedback from readers shows it has helped them develop personally and professionally, and this is at the core of my business.
Like what you’ve seen, heard me speak at a conference or read my book contributions and want to work with me in your organisation? Now you can through All Things IC, which draws on my extensive experience.
Every company is different and a one size fits all approach to communication simply doesn’t work. I work as a trusted advisor, taking time to understand your culture, engage with your stakeholders and create a tailored plan to enable you to communicate effectively in your organisation. I offer a range of services including training and comms clinics. You can find out more via my work with me page.
Guest writers have been an important part of my blog to date and I’m keen to continue featuring them. See my guidelines and archive if you’d like to contribute.
I’ve kept my popular resources page, which is packed with information and points you towards some excellent books, courses, people and things to read, and my blogroll.
Thank you for stopping by,
Rachel
