What writing a dissertation looks like…

Am actually drowning in books and papers! Got home last night to find a surprise parcel from my oldest friend Debs which contained a funky glass jar of retro sweets from our childhood. Accompanied by fab note saying they were to keep me going while writing my dissertation, bless her. A girl needs friends like that!

picbooksKept changing my mind about my title but have now settled on “What benefits would Web 2.0 have on internal communication at <my company>? How could it help the organisation and what impact would social media tools have?’

I’m writing this disseration as the final module of a year long post-grad diploma in Internal Communications Management. It is run by Kingston Uni, London, and Capita Learning & Development. http://www.kingston.ac.uk/pgintcomms/

Flipping hard work alongside a full time job but definitely recommended.

Right,  must get back to it – am 4,500 words in so far and determined to nail as much as I can this weekend.

  1. Hey, I recognise some of those books!
Are you saying that kitchen tables aren’t meant to look like that? (It may be time for me to go home and clean up then.)
Good on you for doing all this. It takes courage and determination… especially when your mates are all down at the pub.
