Welcome to the 20th edition of What’s on this week, your Sunday look at what’s on for professional communicators.
This week I have news of how All Things IC blog readers can benefit from discounted prices for four upcoming events between now and the end of the year, plus what’s happening over the next 10 days.
I know how far comms budgets need to stretch, so hopefully these deals will enable you and your team/s to take advantage of some of the events on offer.

Save money on upcoming comms events:
PRCA national conference, 25 September
First up is the national conference from the Public Relations Consultants’ Association (PRCA), which I’m a member of. They’re holding their national conference this Friday, 25 September 2015, at BAFTA in London.
If you’re unable to attend, you can follow the conversations on Twitter @PRCA_UK.
Five readers can attend the Public Relations Consultants Association (PRCA) national conference for £250+ VAT.
This is the member price (you don’t have to be a PRCA member to go) and saves you £50.
How to save money:
Email Matt.Cartmell@prca.org.uk. The first five readers to get in touch with Matt will be able to book at this price.
CIPR Inside annual IC conference
On Tuesday 13 October 2015, the internal comms sectoral group of the Chartered Institute of Public Relations, CIPR Inside, @CIPRInside, is holding its annual IC conference.
I’m looking forward to speaking at the event, which has the theme Making an Impact. The venue is 8 Northumberland Avenue, London.
Thank you to CIPR Inside for offering All Things IC readers 20 per cent off the ticket price. I asked if it would be possible because this conference is one of the highlights of the various events I attend each year. I wanted to encourage as many comms pros as possible to come along, and am delighted to be able to offer you 20 per cent off.
Here’s the small print… The discount is valid on all the generic tickets. So this means anyone who is not a CIPR member, a member of another association like IoIC or a student, will benefit from it. CIPR members still get the best price, as recognition for their membership commitment, but if you’re not a member, you still get to save too. I hope this helps encourage people who haven’t attended before to check it out for yourself.
