I know how hard everyone is working to navigate the COVID-19 pandemic. We hope this new free show will help unite the global community of Comms pros so everyone can learn, have fun and get help, we’d love you to join us.
Starting tomorrow, Chuck and I will be going live on LinkedIn every Wednesday at 8pm UK time (3pm Eastern) for 30 minutes.
Chuck says: “Spin The Wheel is a fun new way to discuss the topics that are top of mind for communicators – and doing it all live.”
We’d love you to get involved – we will be adding topics to our wheel based on suggestions from Comms practitioners. All you need to do is watch the show live and add your topic suggestions via the LinkedIn comments. We’ll then choose a topic each week and discuss it during the 30-minute show.
- What: Spin The Wheel
- When: Every Wednesday evening, 8pm – 8.30pm BST (3pm Eastern)
- RSVP: Let us know if you’d like to come and you’ll receive calendar invitations and reminders.
Chuck is Senior Strategic Adviser at SocialChorus and host of the popular IC podcasts ICology and Culture, Comms & Cocktails. If you attended the CIPR Inside conference in Birmingham, UK, in October, you’ll have heard him speak there.
It’s almost a year to the day since we had a fireside chat together at the Public Relations Society of America Employee Communications section conference, PRSA Connect in Arizona and he was recently featured on Katie Macaulay’s The Internal Comms Podcast as The Cheerleader for IC.
I’ve known Chuck for about eight years. We met via Twitter and quickly realised we had shared interests as we both love employee communications, helping Comms practitioners and sharing advice to help others learn. Having both worked in-house and now through our work as Consultants, we have constant conversations with Comms practitioners. We met in person for the first time at a Melcrum event (remember those?) back in 2013 and he regularly hops across the pond from the US to attend and speak at UK events.
Our collaboration together through Spin The Wheel has been timed to help Comms practitioners get tailored advice and guidance and have some fun at the same time.
Goodness knows we’re all working on very serious topics right now. This doesn’t detract from those, but hopefully offers you a chance to connect with your global peers so everyone can learn and get help.
RSVP here to receive calendar invitations and reminders, I hope to see you there.
Thank you for stopping by
